Scholarship is one of Kappa Sigma’s four pillars, and at Beta-Epsilon it comes first. Our brothers are students at the University of Wisconsin–Madison before anything else.

How we support it
Good grades at Beta-Epsilon are a shared responsibility. Here’s how we back that up:
- A scholarship chair who tracks every brother’s grades through the term.
- Required study sessions that keep the whole chapter on pace.
- Reserved library rooms during exam season.
- Mentoring by major, pairing older brothers with younger ones in the same field.
Scholarships and awards
Beta-Epsilon brothers earn university and national recognition each year. In 2024, 21 brothers received Kappa Sigma’s Donald C. Dilley, Jr. Scholarship-Leadership Award.
